1. Who we are

This website is operated by Carevo Pty Ltd (ABN 69 696 950 919), registered in Australia at 6/11 York St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. By using the site you accept these terms.

2. What Carevo is

Carevo is an information and connection service. We publish guidance on care funding and a directory of care services derived from public regulatory data.

We are not a care provider. We do not deliver care, employ carers, or supervise any service listed on this site.

We are not an adviser. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or medical advice. Our calculators produce estimates from published rules and do not decide anything.

3. Information is general

Content is general information for England unless stated otherwise. Benefit rates and charging thresholds change, typically each April. We take care to keep figures current and cite their source, but you must check your own position with the DWP, your local council, the NHS or a qualified adviser before acting.

Only the DWP can decide a benefit claim. Only your council can complete a financial assessment. Only an integrated care board can decide NHS Continuing Healthcare.

4. Provider listings

Listings are derived from data published by the Care Quality Commission under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Inclusion is not a recommendation, endorsement or vetting by Carevo.

CQC ratings change between inspections, and our copy of the data is refreshed periodically. Always check the current rating and read the full inspection report on the CQC website before making a decision.

Any contract for care is between you and the provider. We are not party to it and are not responsible for the care delivered.

5. Enquiries

If you submit an enquiry, you consent to us passing your details to care providers so they can respond. We do not control whether or how a provider responds, and we do not guarantee that any provider has capacity.

6. Acceptable use

You may use this site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape or bulk-extract the site, republish substantial parts of it, misrepresent your identity, or use it in a way that damages it or interferes with others' use.

The underlying CQC data is public and available under the Open Government Licence directly from CQC. Please take it from the source rather than from us.

7. Intellectual property

Our written content, design and code belong to us. CQC data is used under the Open Government Licence v3.0 and remains Crown copyright. Content sourced from GOV.UK and the NHS is used under the Open Government Licence.

8. Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, we provide the site "as is". We do not warrant that it is free of errors or that the information is complete or current, and we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on it, from the acts or omissions of any care provider, or from any interruption to the site.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Links

We link to external sites, including GOV.UK, the NHS and CQC, for your convenience. We are not responsible for their content.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any protection you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
