About Carevo UK

Carevo helps people in England work out who pays for care, and find CQC-registered providers. We are not a care provider, we do not employ carers, and we do not give regulated financial or legal advice.

What we do

Two things. We explain how care funding works in plain English with the current figures and a link to the primary source. And we make the CQC public register easier to search than the regulator's own website.

Where our data comes from

Provider information comes from the Care Quality Commission's published data, licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Our current copy covers 30,870 active registered services and was published 01 July 2026.

Benefit rates and charging thresholds come from GOV.UK, the Department of Health and Social Care, and the NHS. Every figure on the site carries the tax year it belongs to, and they are held in one file so a rate can never be right on one page and wrong on another.

We do not invent ratings, reviews or awards. Where we do not know something, the site says so rather than guessing.

How we make money

Carevo is free for people looking for care. The intention is that providers pay to be listed and to receive enquiries. Where that happens, it will be labelled on the page. Paying us will never change a CQC rating, and it will never move a provider above a better-rated one in a data-backed ranking without that being disclosed.

At the time of writing we are not taking money from providers, so nothing on this site is currently paid placement.

Carevo UK is operated by Carevo Pty Ltd (ABN 69 696 950 919), a company registered in Australia, at 6/11 York St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia.

  • We are not regulated by the CQC, because we do not provide regulated activities
  • We are not financial advisers, and nothing here is financial advice
  • We are not the DWP, the NHS or your council, and cannot decide your claim

If something on this site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Provider details come from CQC data and can be out of date between publications. Email hello@carevo.uk.
